Who we are and what this policy covers

Funding MX is a business-financing introducer. We are not a lender, we do not make credit decisions and we do not fund requests. We collect details about your business and your goals, then introduce you to independent third-party funding partners who may be able to help.

This policy applies to the Site and to the calls, text messages and emails we exchange with you in connection with the Services. It does not apply to websites or services run by funding partners or other third parties, which have their own privacy practices.

Our Services are meant for business owners and their authorized representatives. Because of that, much of the information we handle relates to you as an individual acting for a business. We treat that information as personal information and protect it accordingly.

Funding MX, 1180 Harborline Parkway, Suite 340, Charlotte, NC 28277. Questions about this policy can go to [email protected] or (877) 596-1042.

Information we collect

This section also serves as our notice at collection. We collect the following categories of personal information, and we have collected them over the past twelve months.

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • Details about your business, such as its name, industry, type of entity, general size and the financing you are interested in.
  • Anything you write to us in a form, email or text message, and what you tell us on a call. Calls with our team may be monitored or recorded for quality and compliance, and we will tell you when the law requires it.

  • Your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language setting and approximate location based on your IP address.
  • The pages you view, the links you select, the page that referred you and campaign tags such as UTM parameters.
  • Dates and times of your visits, gathered through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 5.

Information from other sources

  • Funding partners, who may tell us whether they were able to reach you or whether you chose to continue with them.

Information we do not ask for

The Site is not designed to collect sensitive personal information, such as government identification numbers or full financial account numbers. Please do not send them to us through the Site. If a funding partner needs sensitive details to consider your request, it will ask for them through its own process. If you share sensitive information with us anyway, we use it only to provide the Services you requested.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide the Services, including reviewing your request and introducing you to funding partners that may fit.
  • Contact you about your request by phone, text message and email, as described in Section 6.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Site, and understand how our marketing performs.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse and other harmful activity.
  • Keep records of your consent and communications, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights, our users and others.
  • Create aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you.

How we share information

Funding partners, at your request

When you submit a request, you are asking us to introduce you to funding partners. We share your contact and business details with one or more independent funding partners who may offer financing. After that, each partner handles your information under its own policies and may contact you directly.

Service providers

We use vendors that host the Site, run our forms, customer-relationship and communications tools, deliver calls, texts and emails, provide analytics and security, and give us professional advice. They may use personal information only to perform services for us and under contract.

Legal, safety and business reasons

We may disclose information when we believe it is needed to comply with law or legal process, to respond to government requests, to protect rights, safety and security, or to investigate misuse. If we are part of a merger, financing, sale of assets or similar transaction, information may transfer as part of it.

With your direction

We also share information when you ask us to or give your permission, and we may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.

Sale and sharing under state law. Some state laws define a “sale” to include disclosing personal information in exchange for something of value, and “sharing” to include disclosure for cross-context behavioral advertising. Passing your request to funding partners may be viewed as a sale under those definitions. In the past twelve months we disclosed identifiers, commercial information and inferences to funding partners in this way. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. You can opt out at any time, as explained in Section 7.

Cookies, analytics and opt-out signals

Cookies and similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, help the Site work, remember your settings, measure performance and understand how people reach us. Depending on the page, they may include:

  • Essential technologies that keep the Site secure and functioning, including those that support the request form.
  • Analytics and measurement technologies that show us which pages and campaigns are useful.
  • Advertising and attribution technologies that help us measure our own marketing.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the Site may then work less smoothly. The request form on this page is delivered by our service provider, LeadConnector, and may set its own cookies.

Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, and any other legally recognized opt-out preference signal, as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser and, where we can link it to you, your profile. Do Not Track. Because there is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, we do not respond to them separately.

Calls, texts and emails

When you submit the request form and agree to the consent statement shown with it, you authorize Funding MX, and any funding partner named in that statement, to contact you about your request by phone, text message and email. This may include calls and texts placed with automated technology to the number you provide. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything or of receiving the Services.

Stopping communications

  • Texts: reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us in any reasonable way, and we will honor your request promptly.
  • Calls: tell the caller you do not wish to be contacted, or call us at (877) 596-1042.
  • Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or write to [email protected].

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share text-message opt-in data or consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Your privacy choices and rights

Opt out of sale and sharing

You can tell us not to sell or share your personal information by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share,” by calling (877) 596-1042, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. If you opt out, we may not be able to introduce you to funding partners. You can change your mind later by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California and the other U.S. states that have comprehensive privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you, including in a portable format.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use it beyond what the law permits.
  • Appeal our decision if we decline your request.
  • Receive equal service and pricing. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

How to make a request

  1. Email [email protected] or call (877) 596-1042 and say which right you want to use.
  2. We will ask for details that let us match the request to the information we hold. We will not ask for more than we need.
  3. We respond within the period applicable law requires, and we will explain if we need more time or cannot fully act on a request.

You may use an authorized agent. We may ask for written proof of their authority and for you to confirm your identity. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response or emailing us with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.

California and Nevada

California residents may ask once a year which categories of personal information we shared with third parties for their direct marketing, and for what purposes. Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of certain information. Use the contact details in this section for either request.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy. To decide how long, we consider what the information is, why we collected it, whether you are still in contact with us, whether we must keep records of consent and communications by law, and whether we need it to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. These include access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please contact us right away if you think your information has been compromised.

Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for business owners who are at least 18 years old. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or embed services run by others, including funding partners and our form provider. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies before you share information with them.

Where information is processed

We operate in the United States and the Services are intended for use in the United States. If you access the Site from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give a more prominent notice. Using the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where the law requires your consent. This version took effect on October 1, 2026.
